Vålerenga are Norwegian champions. At Rommen on June 27–28 they swept through the tournament — 20–1 in the semifinal, then a 14–0 shutout in the final — without trailing all weekend. The title comes home to Oslo.
In the final he threw a complete-game shutout — five innings, three hits, no walks, 13 strikeouts — and went 2-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBI at the plate. He also homered in the semifinal. The title, won on both sides of the ball.
Two run-rule wins, never trailing. From the semifinal to the final Vålerenga outscored the field 34–1, hit four home runs in the 20–1 semifinal, and allowed zero earned runs all weekend.
