Eliteserien, junior, and Little League – here is how the league system is built.
There are baseball teams at several levels in Norway – from Little League for kids to Eliteserien for adults. Norges Softball og Baseball Forbund (NSBF) organizes the leagues, while each club fields one or more teams at the levels they have players for.
The top level of Norwegian baseball. Six teams compete in a regular season and playoffs. The winner becomes national champion.
Youth ages 13–18. The middle step between Little League and adult baseball, with games against other clubs.
Kids ages 6–12. The world's largest youth baseball program, run locally with practices, games, and tournaments.
Active baseball and softball clubs are found in Oslo (Vålerenga, Pretenders, ØHIL Royals in Bærum), Bergen, Trondheim, Drammen, Kristiansand, and more cities. Each club fields teams at the levels they have players for – some clubs have only Little League, others cover the whole way from kids to Eliteserien.
